About Cavers Country Guest House
We believe Vita Sackville-West would be proud of the white garden ‘room’ at Cavers. It was established by Ken’s mother, inspired by Vita’s iconic white garden at Sissinghurst Castle (UK). Rozanne has gardened here for 27 years and the white garden seems to get better than ever each spring. But it isn’t all white. Rozanne has a very special and subtle touch with colour gradations. The visitor who looks closely will be rewarded with interesting ideas. Rozanne has maintained the underlying ‘bone-structure’ of the original garden while allowing it to evolve in response to the changing needs of the family - grandchildren are now frequent visitors. Ten years ago we saw masses of pretty annuals here; now more perennials and shrubs create the special effects.
Tea, coffee and set-menu lunch is available
Plants are for sale during the Garden Festival.
