We specialise in gifts, garments and homeware made from locally produced raw materials such as wool and mohair -- we are part of the Mohair Route. We have a painter in residence; we stock pottery from two local farm kilns; our inhouse nursery includes many indigenous species.
In her workroom at The Studio, fashion-designer Katrina Nel creates luxurious mohair garments and accessories for direct sale and for wholesale to other shops. She also stocks mohair yarn, blankets, socks and carpets.
Working mainly in oils on canvas, Nicky Roselli has a studio on the premises. Her evocative landscapes are inspired by the beauty of our region. She also produces a popular range of mono-prints featuring aloes, goats, cows, chickens and other rural subjects.
Textile artist, Catherine Knox, creates machine and hand-stitched contemporary quilts for walls and beds, and she has a range of mixed-fibre hand-made and coloured accessories.
The walled garden offers gardeners a terrific choice of plants, shrubs and trees supplied by Christine Botha from her nursery on a nearby farm.
